AFFILIATE MARKETING

What exactly is Affiliate Marketing?

One of the problems of any business or area of business is that those involved who know what they are talking about tend to use jargon and acronyms.  Not only will someone new to the particular area not understand these, but they may not even fully comprehend what the main term itself actually means.

So what is Affiliate Marketing?  Simply put - if you are an Affiliate for a company you are an unpaid, commission only sales agent for that business.  This normally means that the company will give you a special code which you will use to refer potential customers to that company or their products.  A good example that everyone will know is Amazon.  You can sign up as an Affiliate and promote their books and other products.  When somebody you have referred buys you will earn a commission.

If ever you see an advert where you are being told you can earn a fortune without any products of your own, without a website, etc., the chances are they will be trying to sell you an ebook or whatever to teach you about Affiliate Marketing.

As a means of earning money it is indeed an excellent way to start when you don't have any products of your own and are looking for a way to earn some extra cash.  However the percentage commission that you earn can vary greatly depending on the type of product you are promoting.  Also the results that people get from becoming an Affiliate Marketer will vary greatly.  This is why when you are buying any product aimed at teaching you how to make money, you need to try to find products that give you specific instruction and not just a load of generalisations.

Indeed if you want some top notch information, there is a link on the home page to a package which contains information in detail, that if applied can put you in the premier league of Affiliate Marketers.  You can also click here to go straight there.

Good luck whatever you do!
